Total Uganda awarded Best Cooking Gas in the 2018 Consumers’ Choice Award

Total Uganda, the leading integrated energy provider in Uganda was nominated by consumers as the “Best Cooking Gas” provider. The award was recieved by Hosea Nkojo (centre) Lubricants and Specialities Manager and Olivia Nahwera (Left) LPG Sales Coordinator.

The 2018 Consumer Choice Awards recognizes brands and businesses that have demonstrated extraordinary leadership attributes, compassion and humility in the delivery of service to the community.

Speaking at the awards Ceremony, the Guest of Honor, Keynote Speaker and Minister of Trade, Industry and Cooperatives, Hon. Amelia Kyambadde said that the Ministry encourages the Buy Uganda Build Uganda (BUBU) campaign that focuses on local content growth and development.

Mr. Bari Salim, the CEO of Consumer guide, the awards event organizer said told guests and participants that the awards are a true reflection of the market place as it represents the opinion of consumers and buyers across Uganda. He added that the selection method is a four-step rigorous ranking process, and is conducted by a third party research firm to ensure that only the most outstanding brands and service providers emerge as winners within their respective industries and categories. The ranking process is based on customer satisfaction, business excellence and business reputation among other things.
